Description

The Bonvillars Truffle Market gathers every autumn the actors of Swiss truffles at La Cour de Bonvillars. Truffle hunters, cellar masters and wine producers, chefs, and artisans showcase their expertise and products. The market exclusively offers Swiss-controlled truffles, with several dozen kilos of truffles for sale as well as mycorrhized truffle trees. Local products, wines from the Bonvillars appellation, and various artisanal specialties complete the stalls. Throughout the day, truffle hunting demonstrations with dogs allow visitors to discover cavage techniques at 10 am, 11:30 am, and 2:30 pm. The program also includes a conference dedicated to Swiss truffles from 3 pm to 4 pm, an exhibition of regional mushrooms, a scent workshop, and activities around truffles. Food is available continuously, including truffle risotto, truffle butter tartines, veal sausages with truffles, and truffle fondue.
