Experience Brewing Course at Schützengarten Brewery

Description

Experience an exciting day (approx. 6.5 hours) together with our beer sommelier and brew your own beer in a group. After the welcome and a small snack, you will be introduced to the rich world of Schützengarten beers and learn important facts and stories about brewing and beer in general. During brewing, you will get hands-on experience (mashing, stirring, resting, lautering). While the wort is boiling and hops are added, a brewer's meal will be served to you. Then it goes on to the second part with the production steps in the whirlpool, yeast addition, and filling into the fermentation tank. The sommelier will introduce you to the art of aromas and provide explanations about foods that pair especially well with various beer styles. The event is culinarily rounded off with a small snack plate. Five weeks later, you can pick up about three bottles of 33cl of your own beer at the St. Gallen beverage market.

General Information

The experience brewing course at Schützengarten Brewery offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of beer brewing. Participants learn all steps of the brewing process and enjoy a brewer's meal as well as a snack plate. After five weeks, they can pick up their self-brewed beer.
