Erika Stucky is primarily known as a singer, composer, and performer. Since the mid-1980s, she has been moving with her distinctive voice and radical stage presence between jazz, American folk tradition, experimental music, and Alpine yodeling. With more than five thousand concerts on all continents, she has become one of the most unusual personalities in the international music scene. Influenced by her childhood between San Francisco and Valais, Stucky has always combined seemingly contradictory elements: yodeling, blues, jazz, rock, and performance art. Between "story-singing" and "song-telling," a unique stage format emerges, offering intimate insights into a vibrant artist's life and celebrating the unbridled power of her music. The performer synchronizes images and films with songs, life stories, and tour anecdotes on stage. Memories meet improvisation, archives merge with the present.
