En Suite - Alone with Audrey Hepburn - Audrey Hepburn - 100th Anniversary Event

Description

A piece by Sigrid Behrens about the unforgettable Hollywood icon with Daniela Michel
100th Anniversary Event Everyone knows her, everyone loves her. Through films like "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or "Sabrina," she became an icon whose shine has not faded to this day: Audrey Hepburn.
The audience was presented with this beautiful actress with her hungry, large eyes as a cheerful, youthful, and somewhat dreamy woman. But who was she really, what moved her? Sigrid Behrens' piece "En Suite – Alone with Audrey Hepburn" deals with the true life of this extraordinary woman. She worked with the great film directors of her time, won an Oscar for her first Hollywood film "One Heart and a Crown," and captivated audiences then and now.
But Audrey Hepburn was not only a famous actress and passionate dancer; she was also a vulnerable young woman who was constantly searching for a fulfilled life and faced some obstacles along the way. Under the direction of Birgit Voigt, Daniela Michel celebrated some successes with this piece and is described by Solinger Tageblatt as "externally perfectly matched to the original." "The skillfully integrated, cleverly lightly performed singing and dance numbers" (Badische Neuste Nachrichten) give this profound piece a certain lightness, while providing the opportunity to get to know Audrey Hepburn in a completely new way.
