Description
Tadaa ... Just now as an April Fool's joke in the Tages-Anzeiger – and now actually, really and in person, in our exhibition: Corine Mauch! On April 1st, the Tagi wrote that the Zurich city president stepping down at the end of May would get her own section in the permanent exhibition of Einfach Zürich, almost a Maucholeum in the National Museum – with a very divided reaction from the readership, which was surprisingly emotional (in all directions). And even though we are not showing Corine Mauch's e-bike, her bass guitar from punk rock days, or launching a selfie box with Mauch hairstyle: The former city president will actually lead a real – and exclusive – one-hour tour through our exhibition and tell, associatively linking to our objects, about her relationship to Zurich: its politics, music, architecture, its people, and her very special role in the whole structure. We also want to know from her: What is it like, after 17 years, suddenly no longer being responsible? What does she finally have more time for? And what does she actually miss most from her old life?
Highlights
- Exclusive tour with Corine Mauch
- Insights into her time as city president
- Personal stories about Zurich
