An Evening Full of Deception with Sarah Elena Müller, Lilli Tollkien, and Özge İnan

Description

In an increasingly toxic relationship, an imbalance has taken hold. Growing up in a Berlin male shared apartment not only makes the girl stumble. And has the celebrated newcomer really written her poems herself? Monika Schärer moderates this evening about lying and staggering. Sarah Elena Müller tells the story of Alice and Rio in "Unwucht," where Rio gets lost in criminal activities related to his drug addiction. Seven years later, Alice stands at Rio's door. She wants to understand her story. Understanding, Lale also wants, who grew up in the 80s in a Berlin male commune, where parties are celebrated and revolutions planned. Lale longs for security, while her boundaries are crossed. Between freedom and neglect, she finds her way in Lilli Tollkien's debut "Mit beiden Händen den Himmel stützen" and stumbles at the edges. Emma Rodenstock is a phenomenon. Everyone is vying for the poetess. She gives a face to the debate about classism and privileges. Until Nazanin Esfahani, an emerging journalist, finds a discrepancy in her story. Özge İnan dissects not only the literary scene in "Die Dichterin." To start, Raffaella Studer, winner of the writing competition "VorSatz," reads her text. © Images: David Fürst/Paul Schwenn/Christoph Busse Participants and additional information: Sarah Elena Müller, Lilli Tollkien, Özge İnan, Monika Schärer, Raffaella Studer
