As a storyteller, poet, and actor, Carlos Martínez shows his intimate relationship with silence on stage. He invites the audience to immerse themselves in his visual space, where secrets are revealed, where contradictions, shadows, and transcendence become visible and blend with pure fun and liberating laughter – carried by an unbridled hope.
On this special evening, the artist allows his pieces, which usually travel in separate suitcases, to exchange their travel companions and link new stories on stage. In a new composition, the audience experiences an evening where not only first-time viewers but also loyal fans will have great joy. Carlos Martínez creates a world before their eyes where the seemingly absurd transforms and becomes tangibly real. Each of the six full-length programs of the artist – Books Without Words, Hand Made, Human Rights, My Bible, Time to Celebrate, and even Fata Morgana – was allowed to send its best representatives to casting in hopeful expectation of meeting the high demands and being included in the final version.
