Druhá tráva

Druhá tráva is a recognized pillar of acoustic, folk, and Americana music in the Czech music scene since its inception in 1991.
At that time, the group was founded by Robert Křesťan and Luboš Malina after their departure from Poutníci. Druhá tráva is characterized by two distinctive features - the authorship and interpretative exceptionalism of singer, songwriter, and translator Robert Křesťan, and the extraordinary instrumental skill of the other band members. Since its inception, Druhá tráva has been ranked among the top in the folk & country scene not only in the Czech Republic but also in Slovakia. Although it is often labeled as bluegrass, it has mixed multiple styles since its beginning. Bluegrass refers more to the previous engagements of several band members with the Brno-based Poutníci. The band also regularly returns for successful tours in the United States.
