DragonForce with Alissa White-Gluz DragonForce opens a new chapter - and for this, they have brought in one of the most influential voices of modern metal: Alissa White-Gluz, internationally known as the long-time ex-singer of Arch Enemy. The Grammy-nominated and platinum-certified power metal pioneers from London will come to Volkshaus Zürich on Monday, May 3, 2027, with White-Gluz as the new singer and are simultaneously working on their tenth studio album. Since their founding in 1999 by guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman, DragonForce has been known for breathtaking speed, technically demanding guitar work, anthemic choruses, and spectacular live shows. With Alissa White-Gluz, a new musical dimension opens up without losing the characteristic energy and precision of the band. DragonForce achieved their international breakthrough in 2006 with the album Inhuman Rampage and especially with the song Through the Fire and Flames. The track became a global phenomenon, was certified platinum, streamed over 330 million times on Spotify, and viewed more than 150 million times on YouTube. As a legendary and notoriously difficult closing song of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, the song also reached an audience far beyond the metal scene. Full throttle ahead: as special guests, Visions of Atlantis and Wings of Steel will provide a varied metal package. Visions of Atlantis bring their epic Pirates Metal to the stage. With Pirates and Pirates II - Armada, the band has created its own musical world and made a name for itself with several sold-out international tours. Wings of Steel complete the line-up with classic heavy metal, powerful riffs, and lots of energy.
