In his live program "Hitverdächtig," Dr. Pop deciphers which music can save a party, a relationship, and even a life. The audience gets surprisingly funny answers to questions like: Why do termites chew through wood twice as fast when they listen to heavy metal, or: Why are ten people sitting at a laptop and not a guitar in today's hit? Dr. Pop blasts familiar and new hits from music history — from hip-hop, rock, pop, schlager, classical to jazz. Dr. Pop makes audible: there is the right hit for every life situation. Hitverdächtig – The music comedy stand-up show for everyone who loves music or wants to start loving it. Dr. Pop studied media studies and pop music in the four pop music metropolises of the world: Manchester, Liverpool, Paderborn, and Detmold. Subsequently, he earned his doctorate on terrorism and orientalism in pop music at Humboldt University of Berlin. He was under police protection for six years during this time. Initially, he thought it was because of the explosive power of his theses, but it was because Angela Merkel's private residence was door to door with his music institute.
Dr. Pop is on stage, produces videos, and is heard as a weekly columnist at radioeins from RBB with the segment "Dr. Pop's Sound Studio." The segment was nominated by the jury of the Grimme Institute for the German Radio Award in the category "Best Comedy." His radioeins stage show "Dr. Pop's Consultation" regularly takes place in Berlin. With his solo program "Hitverdächtig," he is touring nationwide. Participants: Dr. Pop
