"Dotschy Reinhardt, David Anthony Rose & Manouche ´26 " - The Best of Gypsy Swing

Description

Dotschy Reinhardt and David Rose present a new concert program dedicated to the world of Gypsy Jazz. The musician couple performs together on stage for the first time in this special setting, paying homage to the various influences of their musical Sinti heritage. Dotschy Reinhardt, herself a descendant of the legendary Reinhardt family of musicians, impresses with Gypsy Jazz original compositions that also incorporate influences from Bossa Nova legends like Antonio Carlos Jobim, Toninho Horta, and Joao Bosco, blending them with singer/songwriter colors. David Anthony Rose, a fixture for years as a representative of the Great American Songbook, dedicates himself to the classic "Hot Club de France" sound of the legendary Django Reinhardt, combining this style with the swing crooner influences of his idols around Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams, which makes long-established Gypsy Swing standards appear in a completely new light. The two vocalists are accompanied by David Rose's Swing Ensemble Manouche ´26, consisting of international musicians. Expect a musically virtuosic fireworks display full of passion, savoir-vivre, and emotional depth. Just "The Best of Gypsy Swing". Cast:
