"Sleeping Beauty" is one of the most famous and beloved fairy tales of all time. In the ballet world, the work of the successful duo Marius Petipa and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is considered a milestone of dance history alongside "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker." Since its premiere in 1890, it has been performed worldwide in reconstructed or new versions. One reason is certainly Tchaikovsky's emotional, multicolored score, which the composer himself regarded as one of his best. This ballet is a feast for the eyes, ears, and heart!
