ZOMBIE METAL AT Z7 Fascinating storytelling, brilliant songwriting, and musical skill: with these ingredients, the Nuremberg-based Dominum stormed the metal scene three years ago. In December 2026, Dr. Dead and his zombies will present their unbridled Power Metal with horror appeal for the first time as headliners on our stage. They will bring their new third album (release: July 2026) on tour. The Nuremberg power metal superstars Dominum made a splash in 2023: they immediately reached the top 20 of the German album charts with their debut album "Hey Living People" and gained many fans with their horror-inspired lyrics, powerful compositions, striking covers of Dead or Alive, Billie Eilish, or Midnight Oil, and theatrical performances. The mastermind behind the project is singer Felix Heldt, who has made a name for himself as a songwriter and producer for bands like Feuerschwanz and Visions Of Atlantis. As Dominum frontman Dr. Dead, he takes listeners into the world of the undead and tells stories of zombies, the fight for survival, and an insatiable greed for more. With the debut album, Dominum conquered European stages as support for scene giants like Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Feuerschwanz, and Peyton Parrish, or through celebrated festival shows in front of tens of thousands of fans. At the end of 2024, the second strike followed. The zombie metal band unleashed the undead again with "The Dead Don't Die" and this time climbed into the top 10 of the charts. Alongside ten new tracks, Dominum served a fat cover version of Scorpions' hit "Rock You Like A Hurricane." With their two albums, Dominum has also been regularly seen in Pratteln in recent years. In December 2023, they presented themselves in the opening act of the Apocalypse Riders for the first time to fans. In December 2024, they were again our guests with Feuerschwanz. In December 2025, the next appearance as a special guest of Battle Beast followed. Meanwhile, the power zombies have developed from an elite warm-up act to the main act and will come in December 2026 with their third album, which will be launched at the sold-out Rockharz Festival in July, as headliners for the first time.
