Robert Sandoz signs a reinterpretation that is both faithful and daring of Dom Juan, revealing the ambiguity of the character, between the quest for freedom and the impulse of self-destruction. Facing him, Sganarelle is no longer a simple comic foil, but a lucid, fragile voice that questions his master's blindness. The female figures embody a social body that is both fascinated, manipulated, and resistant, opposing a lively force to the excesses of male desire. Driven by a baroque aesthetic tinged with Día de Muertos, the staging blurs the boundaries between life and death and traverses eras, from the Nouvelle Vague to today. A theater in motion, between myth and road-movie, questioning our contradictions and patriarchal heritage.
