For years, Dieter Ilg has been one of the most influential voices in European jazz. His international reputation is based on his electrifying vitality in playing, intelligent curiosity, technical brilliance, and sensitive dedication to the moment. This has resulted in three ECHO Jazz awards, specifically for his trio projects.
Thanks to the awards of the renowned double bassist are also his two fabulous colleagues Rainer Böhm (piano) and Patrice Héral (drums), who are second to none. After arrangements and improvisations of exclusively classical works, a very personal program as well as an album have now been created.
