Description

Oh, you joyful one! Christmas is just around the corner, and the opera singer Luitpold Löwenhaupt carries a surprise for his family under his arm – a living goose! The festive roast! Until Christmas Eve, the animal is to have its quarters in the cellar. Peterle befriends the goose and even learns her name: Auguste. The child and the goose are already inseparable when the father wants to send Auguste to goose heaven shortly before Christmas. But he did not expect the protest of his family. Luitpold invents a nasty trick. But in the end, the goose triumphs, otherwise this would not be an enjoyable Christmas story.
