The Swiss National Museum's collection is newly presented in the restored historic west wing of the Landesmuseum Zürich, which has been brought back to its 1898 condition. Visitors can explore open courtyards, original floors, and uncovered ceiling paintings. The exhibition features artifacts from the Middle Ages to contemporary times, including altarpieces, tapestries, fashion evolution, and modern jewelry design. An additional focus is on Swiss tourism in the 19th century and traditional craftsmanship, displayed in the tower area.
