The collection of the Swiss National Museum is newly presented in the renovated historic west wing of the Landesmuseum Zürich. The renovation restores the wing to its 1898 condition, revealing original floors, ceiling paintings, and open light courtyards. Visitors can explore a diverse range of artifacts from the Middle Ages to the present, including altarpieces, tapestries, fashion evolution, and modern jewelry design. The exhibition also features a tower display dedicated to Swiss tourism in the 19th century and traditional Swiss craftsmanship, offering a comprehensive insight into Switzerland's cultural history.
