Description

This play, based on Gün Tanks' debut work, portrays women from Turkey, Spain, Italy, Greece, Yugoslavia, Morocco, and Tunisia who migrated to Germany in the 1970s to work. It follows Nour, a young woman from Istanbul, as she navigates life in a German village, facing challenging living conditions and unfair wages. Inspired by a women's strike from the 1920s, Nour and her friends unite to demand better rights under the slogan 'One Mark More!', striving to escape the low-wage group.
