Description
“We need to work more in Germany again!” demands the chancellor. But how lazy is Neukölln really? Eight Berliners come together at Heimathafen as a temporary office community and get involved in the current discussion about work and the welfare state. They share their everyday experiences in hospitals, with the EU, in daycare, from citizen's income benefits, or in the union. Why is work with machines more valuable than work with people? Why is work with the head more valuable than work with the hands?
Caught between hustle culture, secret confessions, and existential anxiety, Berliners sometimes dream of a cozy office job. Then the workforce turns into real Müssiggänger: Do we need to learn to be lazy again? Can we fight the performance society from the coffee kitchen?
But first, a disco break, and then we’ll do some real “Rambo Zambo”. Additional information:
