Especially in the darker season, the longing for places where people gather, talk to each other, and enjoy together grows. "The Short Night of the Long Table" creates such a place. The long table becomes a meeting point for culture enthusiasts, connoisseurs, and everyone who wants to embrace new encounters. The idea is that good food and good conversations connect people. Complemented by cultural contributions and personal stories, an evening is created that slows down and at the same time inspires. Singer, producer, and activist The evening begins with an aperitif in the Andreas Züst library. Afterwards, Odd Beholder invites to a concert in the fireplace room. With poetic texts, fine melodies, and her unmistakable voice. At the table, she talks about her musical work, creative processes, and the stories behind her songs, providing insights into her work as a Swiss musician and producer. In the middle, host and chef Laura Röösli serves a carefully curated four-course menu. Seasonal products and regional ingredients form the basis for a culinary evening that combines enjoyment and encounter. Stories from the Tea Shop For dessert, Stefanie Bärtsch from the Tea Shop Chur takes guests into the versatile world of tea. She talks about origins, processing, and traditions of various tea cultures and shows how different aromas, scents, and flavor nuances can be experienced. Her contribution opens new perspectives on a beverage that has accompanied people around the world for centuries.
