The Karlsruhe music cabaret duo "Die Herrenkapelle" has every reason to celebrate: For 30 years, Reiner Möhringer and Uli Kofler have been delighting their audience on the stages of southern Germany – with fine humor, musical virtuosity, and charming stage presence.
After their music studies at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, the two moved to the Badisches Staatstheater: Reiner Möhringer as "Artist in Residence," Uli Kofler as the musical director of the drama – and in addition, long-standing TV and concert pianist of the show legend Johannes Heesters.
Together with cabaret artist Frl. Susi Knöpfle, they have created true gems of small art over the years. In dazzling stage shows, they combined musicality, wit, and theatrical art into a unique repertoire – matured through thousands of performances and always surprisingly new.
Now, after 3 decades, it is high time for a musical retrospective of the highest class! Look forward to an anniversary program that sparkles with joie de vivre and stylistic diversity:
