Description

The fruit trees are to be cut down. Dozens of high-stem trees stand on the land of the farming family. The parents have cared for them all their lives, the son wants to get rid of them. He wants to run the farm differently, more modern. And for each tree felled, the state pays a premium. In the middle of the last century, Switzerland was an orchard paradise. But then politics demanded a radical upheaval, the effects of which are still felt today.
