The Dream Magic Tree has today grown the dream leaf for the children with the story of Mimmelitt, the city rabbit. Together with Moosmutzel, the forest spirit girl, Mimmelitt sings the dream leaf. As soon as the two greet the sun with the morning grouch exercise, the big, fat tomcat Leopold is already there. He doesn't want to be alone tonight because a squeaking secret is on the way! An iron ghost! He has heard terrible scary sounds. Pff, Mimmelitt will catch the secret with ease, yes indeed! But the Dream Magic Tree and the children have to help. Then the time comes: deep in the starry night, the terrible squeaking gets closer and closer. After a big scare, it turns out the squeaking secret is Knight Adelbert, a very old, rusty weather vane. He wishes for nothing more than a bit of lubricant, paint, and a roof, oh! An adventurous rescue mission begins.
