Everywhere it's Christmas – that's no different for Mr. Hämmerle in Bempflingen. The cards are written, the bread supplies are at their peak, and the Christmas star, an annual gift from the beverage market, is trying again this year to make it through until Epiphany.
And now it's time to wait. Mr. Hämmerle waits. For the King. This year, he's sure Elvis will come by personally. While outside the comet crosses the Swabian countryside, Hämmerle passes the time with memories, songs, and the anxious question of whether the greatest of all time will really appear.
An evening about waiting, longing, and the small miracles that happen while waiting for something big. The new Christmas evening by and with Bernd Kohlhepp – the successor of the long-running "The Christmas Tree is Burning!"
