Description

America in the year 1870: On a farm in the middle of the prairie, Wilson Bentley lives with his older brother and his parents. The two boys are supposed to support their parents with the work and become good farmers. This leads to conflicts because Wilson is a dreamy boy who spends a lot of time thinking and is fascinated by the small things of the world: the peculiarities of leaves, stones, and snowflakes, which excite him particularly. The scenic narration relies on the power of simple objects, leaving plenty of room for the audience's imagination. The minimalistic stage design supports the intensity and urgency of young Wilson Bentley doing what he finds important. The musical accompaniment and support by Armon Stecher make this production special.
