Der Räuber Hotzenplotz (6+)

Description

Kasperl and Seppel give their grandmother a new coffee grinder for her birthday. When she grinds coffee, she plays her grandmother's favorite song. But the joy is short-lived when the feared robber Hotzenplotz steals the grinder in broad daylight. Kasperl and Seppel set out to find the thief. To outsmart the robber, they exchange their hats and craft a box that looks like it's full of gold. But the robber Hotzenplotz sees through their plan and captures the two. Seppel, whom he mistakes for Kasperl because of his hat, he wants to make work for himself. Kasperl, whom he thinks is Seppel, he sells for a bag of snuff to his friend, the great magician Petrosilius Zwackelmann, as a servant. There, Kasperl discovers the captured fairy Amaryllis, who must be freed so that everything can turn back to the good. The children's book classic by Otfried Preußler from 1962 becomes an adventurous fairy tale fun for young and old.
