On the Trail of Form

Description

In this five-day course, participants embark on a search for the form that can emerge in your stone. Through careful nature observations, they examine rhythms, orders, harmony, and balance, and transfer their discoveries into their own creative work. With hammer and chisel, they continuously respond to the material and develop their sculpture in a free process. Julien Keller accompanies them in sharpening their perception, making decisions, and finding their own language of form. Tools: Chisels, rasps, and files are provided. What participants take away: Their own stone sculpture, a sharpened sense of form, and new experiences in free work on stone.
