Forms in Stone – Taille direct

Description

In this five-day sculpture course, participants learn the working method of Taille directe: they work directly on the stone without a predefined design and develop their sculpture through immediate interaction with the material. At the beginning, they choose their own stone from various provided Steatit. Subsequently, they explore how concave and convex shapes are created, how surfaces meet and from that edges, tension, and movement grow. In the end, the surface is polished so that the forms and colors of the stone become visible.
