A course in which enthusiasts and professionals create their own work. Encounter, inspiration, craftsmanship, and stimulation for new sensations. The result: a piece of raw stone is shaped into a form that can bring long-lasting joy. The Academy of Classical Sculpture is located amidst the rural surroundings of Thurgau near Lake Constance. Since its 35th anniversary, over 800 course participants from Germany and abroad have attended the courses. The workshops, outdoor workspaces, and studios surrounding the landscaped courtyard create a unique artistic and inspiring atmosphere. The academy offers well-equipped rooms for all disciplines, including a gallery, café & restaurant, library, and relaxation room. It is the ideal place for those who value encounter and exchange. In its rooms and open spaces, the passion for stone sculpture, modeling and shaping, drawing and designing, as well as the study of art and literature, is pursued in various ways. The exchange among students and course participants is educational, inspiring, and exciting.
