Based on the film by Touchstone Pictures, written by Tom Schulman. German version by Joern Hinkel and Tilman Raabke. Tradition, honor, discipline, excellence - these are the four fundamental principles that have been taught at Welton Academy for generations. But with the appearance of the young English teacher John Keating, the rigid traditions of the boys' boarding school are suddenly broken. In his unconventional classes, he encourages students to develop their own personalities and to internalize the motto "Carpe Diem! Seize the day!" When his student Neil learns about the mysterious "Club of Dead Poets," of which Keating was once a member, he decides to revive the secret society.
