DELain breaks away from the usual, opening a new chapter in 2027 and bringing an extraordinary concert format to the stage. Together with Marko Hietala and other guests, a unique live experience is created that connects the band's past and future. Fans can look forward to a special evening beyond a traditional tour show. Over two decades, DELAIN has established itself as a fixture in modern melodic metal. Since the debut album "Lucidity," the band has been known for a distinctive mix of catchy melodies, orchestral arrangements, and powerful guitars. Albums like "April Rain," "We Are the Others," or "The Human Contradiction" have shaped this path, while "Dark Waters" (2023) marked the band's greatest success to date with top-10 chart positions in Germany and the US Hard Music Charts. The mastermind behind the band is Martijn Westerholt, who founded DELAIN after leaving Within Temptation and has continuously developed it since. In February 2027, DELAIN will go on tour with a special concept: instead of a traditional show, the audience can expect a specially curated live format with changing high-profile guests and musical surprises. Central to this is also the renewed collaboration with Marko Hietala, whose shared history has produced some of the most defining moments of the band's story. Further participants will be announced at a later date. At the same time, the band is working on new material that is to be released ahead of the tour, marking the beginning of this new phase.
