Description

Anne Frank is 13 years old when she receives a red checkered diary from her father for her birthday. She lives in Amsterdam with her family. When her sister Margot receives the call-up for "labor service in Germany" on July 5, 1942, the Jewish family must go into hiding to prevent their deportation to a concentration camp. The family now lives hidden for two years in the back house of her father Otto Frank's company. Anne Frank writes about her daily experiences, fears, and hopes.
