It's warm at grandma's stove - Kai and Gerda are inseparable friends. But when ice flowers grow on the window and the two children press their noses against the glass looking into the winter world, their friendship begins to crack. Because Kai is drawn away into the magical world of the Snow Queen, who appears out of nowhere and lures Kai into the white. The friend sets out, she doesn't give up on her friend, she fights for the relationship. The children and adults will experience a journey that broadens their perspective through poetic and powerful images.
