Description
Das Falkenschloss is a venerable newspaper house. But above all, it is a fortress of righteousness and a bastion of spelling. Richard Reich in conversation with Marina Villa about his newspaper novel. Similarities to existing publications are neither coincidental nor unintentional. Zurich, 1980. The deeper the city and the world outside sink into chaos and lawlessness, the more the people of Falkenschloss insist on correct grammar and good style. Not just the editorial team! From the porter to three slightly subversive telephone operators to the cryptic Krystyna from the service, everyone has an opinion on what is right and what is wrong. Especially when chaos also takes hold in Falkenschloss: The editor-in-chief has died, department heads are missing, interns from good families disappear without reason and must be urgently replaced by the unfortunately slightly failed junior of the old boss and by the mysterious Vola, who writes usable but still nobody wants to hire. Oh yes, and then the youth of the city also rehearses the uprising right in front of the newspaper's gates. Fortunately, there is still the Great Proofreader!
