In the series of musical evenings, opera is rarely featured. This makes the conclusion of this season, dominated by the works of Gioachino Rossini, even more special. Instead of arias, overtures from several of his famous operas will be performed, arranged for two pianos. The duo Marchegiani–Schiavo plays, showcasing how exciting collaborative music-making can be, according to critics.
