Description

A theatrical thriller based on the novel "The Collector." A dramatization of a gripping novel. An insignificant and insecure clerk and butterfly collector, Frederick Clegg, wins a large sum of money in the lottery. He buys an abandoned house in the countryside and traps a beautiful painting student, Miranda, in the basement. Frederick initially does not want to harm Miranda; he just wants to possess her (just like a beautiful butterfly) and hopes that over time, Miranda will fall in love with him. However, she continuously fights for her freedom by all means.
