Benefice for the community center Nesedím, Sousedím. Performing: DUKLA: Dukla is a Prague band playing guitar pop that carries the legacy of the new wave, post-punk, 90s guitar music, as well as folk and contemporary club music. Since their debut EP "Vinohrady" (2017), their work has been characterized by a DIY approach and aesthetic - inspired by the American bedroom and dream pop scene of that time, they initially recorded mostly at home and released songs immediately afterward.
Thanks to regular releases, tireless concert activity, and a constant effort to push the boundaries of the club scene, Dukla has gradually built a strong position in the domestic independent scene. Their distinctive sound, striking melodies, nostalgic lyrics, and frequent collaborations with other musicians have secured them a place among the most sought-after names in the Czech alternative scene. In their work, the band also subtly touches on contemporary social and political themes.
They have a number of singles, several EPs, and two full-length albums to their name. Their latest album "Stejný lepší" (2024) shows a shift towards a more club-oriented sound, while still retaining what is characteristic for them - striking melodies and nostalgic lyrics that reflect life in the city with an acknowledged naivety. The album received positive feedback (including two nominations for the Anděl Award 2025) and confirmed the band's determination to evolve their sound without losing their identity.
In the fall of 2025, Dukla released the EP "Další rok," which they also presented during their club tour, continuing their tradition of close contact with the audience through energetic live performances. ANKI:
Anki is a Prague rapper with Vietnamese roots, who sensitively and rawly captures themes of identity, peripheries, and personal transformation in his lyrics. His work is an authentic testimony to the search for a place between cultures and social classes. His latest album I Want to Feel Safe has received nominations for the Anděl, Vinyla, and Apollo awards. All ticket proceeds - 350 CZK in advance and 399 CZK at the door - will be donated to the center Nesedím, Sousedím.
