Culture Day at the Museum

The museum is an open space where everyone can get involved. This is illustrated by the mini-exhibition we’re kicking off the day with, which features works by participants in our painting workshops. The workshops will take place on October 11 and October 14, 2026 (for adults: www. guidle. com/H36jqN and for children: www. guidle. com/W9xTEk Anyone who’d like to try their hand at art can participate in the painting crash courses led by artist Maria Dogan Petrovskaya and create their own artwork in a relaxed setting. In addition, the museum is presenting the photo intervention “Rand aufs Herz” by Olivier Joliat and Hans-Jörg Walter. It brings the outskirts of Allschwil into the village center, thereby highlighting the contrasts within Allschwil. In addition, Hans-Jörg Walter’s photographs will be projected onto the village church. We’ll round out the day with a musical performance by David Helbock and Julia Hofer.
