Description

In October 2025, Coroner (CH) released their first new studio album "Dissonance Theory" in over thirty years. This album took its time. It developed slowly, remained hidden, and mainly took shape in the background. Until the right moment came to bring it to the public. What resulted was not a return to the familiar. It was something new. A work born from silence, friction, and control. The release still receives overwhelming applause: media, fans, and fellow artists worldwide praise the album for its precision, ambition, and distinctive identity. Another classic in an impeccable discography.
The band SAMAEL (CH), strongly influenced by their compatriots Hellhammer, never fully cut their black roots but became more free in both spiritual and stylistic terms with each release. As one of the first extreme bands to openly use a drum computer, brothers Vorph and Xy created an original sound blending Black Metal, Neo-classical, Ethno, and even danceable electronics, while the "Necro" underground still swears by their moldy early works.
