Communication pitfalls, or how to talk to people going through difficult times
We often use phrases which, although intended in good faith to help, actually make things harder for people going through difficult times. This talk will offer you the chance to explore why we fall into these communication traps, as well as more appropriate ways to respond and support someone in crisis without resorting to empty clichés.
The lecture is organised by the Counselling Centre for Family, Marriage and Interpersonal Relationships (CIPS LK, p. o.).
The event is taking place as part of Social Services Week.
