City Discovery through Drawing: The Lower Town

With Maria Virginia Ramirez, connector and architect, and the Center for Sociocultural Animation (ZSA) Lower Town. With a pen in hand, you will set out to discover the city in a completely different way. In this workshop, you will explore a place, its atmosphere, and details while immersing yourself in the art of travel journaling. Open to everyone, with no prior drawing knowledge required, the workshop invites you to see the city with new eyes. Participants will create their own illustrated notebook with drawings and texts, a personal and atmospheric memory of the visited place. The necessary materials will be provided. Objectives: - Discover the Lower Town - Sharpen observation of moods, details, and residents of a place - Familiarize yourself with the travel journal and its basic principles - Try out simple sketching techniques and text-image composition.
