But his boundless ambitions throw everything out of balance: acrobatic performances fail, artistic choreographies fall apart, and even the most astonishing magic tricks go wrong. Clumsy yet full of dedication, he gives the ensemble a unique, chaotic magic – and maneuvers himself into even deeper trouble. In the end, he has only the way back to regain the trust of his fellow humans. Thus, he can still succeed and captivate everyone. The new Monti production, “Poussière d’étoiles,” unfolds as a poetic journey between laughter, wonder, and misunderstandings. In moments of true grace, it becomes clear that there is a special power in failure: failures turn into pure circus poetry and create something wonderful.
