Description
Set in the Tuscan countryside, Cinque secondi follows Adriano, a grumpy loner living in an abandoned estate. When a group of young university graduates in agricultural science, climate research, and oenology occupy the villa to cultivate the vineyard, he initially resists. Over time, as the grapes ripen, they gradually build a connection. Adriano's assistance to them reveals a past moment that drastically altered his life in just five seconds. The film, directed by Paolo Virzì, masterfully blends serious themes with joyful and heartfelt moments, featuring compelling performances by Valerio Mastandrea, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, and Gallatea Bellugi.
