Description
A woman. A construction site. A burning patriarchy.
A young woman renovates her house – and all men freak out. Shortly after buying her house in need of renovation, Cindy clips her completely dirty phone between a Red Bull can and construction chaos, presses 'Record', and starts talking. Today, over a million people are watching her.
What she didn't expect back then? As soon as a woman picks up a drill herself, surprisingly many men seem to gasp for air. Since then, daily condescending criticism, hatred, and a very particular kind of masculinity that feels threatened are pouring onto Cindy. With dry humor and a clear stance, Cindy tells how women are belittled as soon as they take up space: on the construction site, at the family table, in everyday motherhood. And why 'just do it' can sometimes be the most radical thing you can do.
