Marco Michel presents a homage to the extraordinary Bernese artist Chlöisu Friedli, taking the audience on a journey into the depths of the human psyche. The solo evening recounts Friedli's life, a pianist who introduced blues to Bernese German in the 1970s. His story is marked by a zest for life, a passion for music, but also by crises and hospital stays. It is the story of a man walking a tightrope, gradually pushed to the edge, who ended his life early. The performance delves into the constructs of 'reality' and 'fantasy', reflecting Friedli's struggles with mental illness.
