Poetry Slam, the poorly behaved stepchild of so-called high literature, comes to the Champions Slam dressed in suits and sparkling evening gowns.
Because champagne reception is the new bottled beer!
Four of the country's best Spoken Word artists present stage literature that at best invites laughter, tears, reflection, and amazement all at once.
The special thing: only poets who have already won a master title are invited to the Champions Slam at the Philharmonie.

Ortwin Bader-Iskraut has built some of the most important Kiezpoeten series since 2015 and has shaped the Berlin scene as an organizer.
As a host, he presents the big Best Of shows at Columbiahalle, the Philharmonie Berlin, or the open-air cinema Friedrichshain.
Outside of Poetry Slam stages, Ortwin Bader Iskraut works as a reporter and concert critic for radioeins.
