When it doesn't really matter whether it's about jazz or pop, when terms like coolness and composure are secondary, when the Cécile Verny Quartet steps up to blur the boundaries and gives the frontwoman exactly the space she needs for her emotions: then, just then, it's worth going. For many years, the Cécile Verny Quartet has been playing its annual closing concert on the last Sunday before Christmas at the local Freiburg Jazzhaus, each year with something special in store. This time, the band is in the workflow, preparing for a new program, a new CVQ album. Many new songs have already been created and will be shared with the audience – of course alongside a few classics from the CVQ repertoire. Additional information:

General Information
