With a swarm of glittering fish, busy pictures wallpaper, and touchable illustrations, the Freiburg scenographer Jens Burde transforms the Literaturhaus into a walk-in picture book for four weeks. Welcome to the enchanting world of "Albertas Wunschladen" (Kunstanstifter, 2023)! Amidst a cabinet of wonders full of stories, astonishing objects, and secret wishes from the pen of Swiss illustrator Martina Walther, we present readings with the world's largest Kamishibai, workshops, and picture book concerts for young and old.
