How does a sample become a beat and an idea become a track? Stefan Wilczynski from HipHop Heidelberg provides a practical introduction to beatmaking and shows basics of sampling, drums, and arrangement. The LoFi producer, vinyl lover, and long-time cultural mediator at Kulturfenster Heidelberg brings MPC, skills, and lots of sounds — working directly on his own tablet / MPC.
